What Are You Building?
Come see what people are actually building. There’s a lot being worked on around us that most people never get to see until it’s polished, launched, or fundraising. What Are You Building? is a recurring gathering at Day 1 where five people get a few minutes to show something they’re working on, followed by questions from the room. Five people. Five different things being built. No judges. No competition. No unsolicited advice. Just people showing their work, a curious room asking good questions, and time afterward to meet the people behind it. What you show could be a startup, product, app, hardware project, food concept, community, creative project, or something that doesn’t fit neatly into any of those categories. You don’t need to be fundraising. You don’t need a polished deck. You don’t even need to be finished. Want to show what you’re building? When you register, you’ll have the option to submit what you’re working on for one of the five presentation spots. We’ll select five projects for this edition. Applying doesn’t guarantee a presentation spot, but we’ll also keep submissions in mind for future editions. Whether or not you’re selected to present, you’re still registered to attend. And you don’t need to be based in Taipei. If you’re visiting and building something interesting, we want to hear about it too. What to expect Each presenter gets a few minutes to show what they’re building, followed by a short, moderated Q&A from the room. After the presentations, we’ll stick around for drinks, introductions, and the conversations worth continuing. Founders & Builders Roundtable
Dreams aren't built in isolation. Sometimes all it takes is one conversation, one piece of feedback, or one introduction to move a vision forward. Founders & Builders Roundtable is a small, relaxed demo and brainstorm session for people who are actively building something. Our goal is to create a safe space for people from different backgrounds and expertise to share their passion projects and brainstorm with one another. We’ll start with a small networking session to get to know others naturally. Then we’ll move into a roundtable discussion, where founders or creators can demo their project and share something they’re currently stuck on. The group will then brainstorm and bounce ideas. Lunch will be around 12:00, which is not included in the venue fee. But there's a mall and several restaurants around the location.
